Under my control I put my fears

Here’s an oldie and a bit of a departure from my usual guitar stuff. This soundscape combined the @rolandglobal SP-404 MkII sampler (now gone sadly) with the wonderful @digdugdiy Lofi Dreams sampler for some hauntingly degraded sounds. The sample in the lofi dreams is Erroll Garner’s original recording of his song “Misty” and the voice is the remarkable French artist Louise Bourgeois talking about how she organizes her fears into the space of the canvas she’s painting on.

All recorded onto a @tascam_official new cassette tape in the 414. It’s grey and raining where I am today. This music feels like it fits that.
